Privacy.
Yusra collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers.
Your bookmarks, settings, and progress live on your device.
All Quran text, translations, and recitations are sourced from Quran.com via their public API (api.quran.com). When the app fetches a verse or audio file, Quran.com receives standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user agent) the same way any browser request would. Yusra does not send any identifier of you or your device along with those requests.
Permissions Yusra asks for, and why:
- Local network — only when you stream audio over AirPlay to a speaker or HomePod.
- Background audio — so recitation keeps playing when the screen turns off.
Yusra does not track you. It does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA), and includes no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs (no Firebase, Crashlytics, Sentry, Google Analytics, or Meta SDK).
Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to export, correct, or delete — including under GDPR and CCPA. Yusra is not in the Kids Category and does not knowingly collect data from children of any age.
